Nissan Leaf Exterior
The Nissan Leaf has a strong performance and comes with a sleek design. It has an angular front-end, and smooth grille-less bumper and if upgraded comes with a contrasting sunroof. It even has subtle blue highlights, stating its electric nature, as if the car is shouting “I am an electric car, an eco-friendly one.” Leaf comes with automatic halogen lights, power mirrors, CHAdeMO fast-charging port, UV-reducing solar glass, and 16-inch alloy wheels which can be upgraded to 17 inches. It comes with five color options: Glacier White, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Deep Blue Pearl, and Super Black.
Nissan Leaf Interior
The interior of LEAF is quite classy, with a sensible and solid layout but the usage of cheap materials is seen in the interior. The instruments used here are pretty impressive in comparison to the price range it is coming for, it has half digital and half analog dials. The speedometer is a little old-school type, it shows the state of the battery, and driver assistant systems and can give you directions from the sat-nav.

The standard model you get is 150hp and 40 kWh model of which you can get 168 miles, but if you buy the top-end model of 217hp and 62 kWh of which you can get 239 miles. If you charge at home using a 7kWh charger it can take 6.5 hours to get a full charge, while if you charge from a 50kWh rapid charger it can take around 60 min to charge up to 80%.
The electric motor of the LEAF is quite silent, in comparison to other EVs, you can’t even hear the noise of the tires or the wind and overall the journey would be a totally silent one. The 40 kWh version of the Nissan Leaf can manage 0-62 mph in around 8 seconds, and if you buy the 62 kWh version can manage 0-62 mph in just 6.9 seconds. The e+ version is better than the normal one, which is heavier and even 5mm higher to accommodate the bigger battery on the floor and provides a firmer suspension.
Ride and Handling
The Nissan leaf isn’t as agile as the other EVs, but it can definitely stay upright through the bends too. The Leaf also provides precise steering which can guide you along winding roads, and the tighter turning helps you manoeuver the city traffic.
Given the price range, Leaf gives you 5 doors, 5 comfortable seating arrangements, and a pretty good boot space, which is very rare to find in this price range. If you buy the e+ version of the Leaf, you will get a strong regenerative braking system, with some blended friction braking system as well.

Price range
The Nissan leaf comes in 5 different trims: Acenta, N-Connecta, Tecna, e+ N-Connecta, and e+ Tecna. If you go for the base model which is Acenta it will cost you £24,169. If you go for N-Conecta then it will range from £25,998 which has upgraded looks, comfort, and technology, heated leather seats, heated steering wheels, and a 360-degree parking camera. If you go for Tekna trim, then it might cost you around £27,375 with 17-inch alloy wheels, BOSE sound system with 7 speakers, a full leather interior, and 360 degrees all-around view camera.
But apart from the three normal models, if you planning to go for the e+ ones then for e+ N-connect you need to spend £30,207 of which you will get Nissan Safety Sheild, 8-inch infotainment touch screen Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and an around view monitor.

Is the Nissan Leaf a Good Car?
Although the 2023 Nissan Leaf is an excellent electric car, it is more of a specialized product than a popular competitor in the rapidly expanding electric vehicle industry of today.
